How we work

How a project runs

Most of our jobs follow roughly the same five stages. Smaller jobs may skip some; larger ones repeat a few. Either way you will know which stage you are in and what comes next.

  1. 1

    First conversation

We meet on site, at our office or by video call. We want to understand what you are trying to achieve, what the site is like, and what permits or approvals might be needed.

    OutputScope and fee proposal

  2. 2

    Surveys and studies

Topographic and boundary surveys, hydrology, ground investigation and EIA baseline work, depending on the project.

    OutputSurvey data and reports

  3. 3

    Design and costing

Drawings and calculations, followed by a full bill of quantities so you can budget and go to tender.

    OutputDrawings and BOQ

  4. 4

    Construction

We build, or we manage and supervise the contractor on your behalf. You get regular progress reports either way.

    OutputProgress reports

  5. 5

    Inspection and handover

Final inspections, snagging, and the as-built records you will need later.

    OutputAs-builts and completion certificate

One provider, on site or online

You should not have to go from one consultant to the next to get a project done. Our surveyors, engineers and environmental specialists work as one team, and you deal with one person.

If you cannot get to Lusaka, we can run consultations by video call with the engineers on your job. Site work, supervision and inspections are done in person, anywhere in Zambia.
